Against the colonization of the future

We are in the middle of the climate crisis and we are not. While many countries in the South are already being devastated, the countries of the North responsible for the destruction are largely spared. Growing areas of Africa and Asia are being parched by the heat or flooded by tidal waves. Entire countries become uninhabitable or are in danger of disappearing. The livelihoods of their inhabitants are destroyed. At this moment of catastrophe, emergency aid is more necessary than ever and yet is out of proportion to what is actually needed: fundamental and structural change.
